I found a Humming bird swing at Goodwill years ago I got it ,it worked I think some one took it out of my front yard. So I made my own.
If you have an old kids plastic bucket that might be cracked .Before it hits the trash take the handle off That will become your Hummingbird swing
You will have something that looks like this  depending on how much rust is on it you will need to clean it up Then spray paint it I use red spray paint. Hummingbirds love red.
My granddaughter added the beads to this just for fun.
I could not put this up in the regular spot I hang the swing because it did not show up well. So it is in this spot just for the picture. Yes humming birds use it.
This humming bird swing is being made from a piece of Bamboo I trimmed from my plant
I used double fold bias tape . This is fabric  .Ribbon will work. I had the red Bias Tape, so I used it. I had all the things I needed for this project with my craft thing.
As you see I pulled the little twig in place ,with the red Bias Tape. Wrapping it ,then  just tying in place at both ends of the swing. I just added some beads  to the little pieces of branch .
Humming birds sit on this, and dive  at other Humming birds as they go to feeder. They will go after each other, under the cover of my deck.
These are the things used for this project.

Very cool and creative. Love the beads your granddaughter put on. She has a very good eye and imagination.

You know what is funny, I left the long pieces of red fabric on the bamboo scrap of a little branch I wanted the red fabric dangling , so it would move in the breeze to attract the Hummingbirds the little birds think they can get food out of the ends of the fabric. I need to go cut that part off.
