Interesting Types of Gardens

I recently started reading a lot about gardens and gardening, since I heard it's like a relaxing exercise for nervous and hard working people. So I started reading about this and I learned a lot about how to create a nice garden, checked out different great ideas for flower pots and decorations for more creative types. And then I started wondering, is there something more than just the flower and vegetable gardens? I wanted to try to create a beautiful garden in my backyard, but I wanted it to be something unique and interesting, something which will attract the eye with its original idea. So, I started researching, and I found some great ideas for interesting types of gardens, which are not for everybody. I just can't wait to make one of these ideas come true. You can check everything I found here http://www.squidoo.com/interesting-types-of-gardens. I personally would love to try the upside down gardens.
The raised gardens are a perfect idea, if the soil in your garden is not good enough to grow what you want.
The container gardening is another great idea if the soil is not good enough, which can be also very pleasant to the eye, because you can use all sorts of containers.
The Japanese gardens are a whole new art, where you can combine elements of all sorts.
The leftover gardens can give you a great idea where to put the plants, which just don't fit into your regular garden.
The upside-down gardens are my personal favourites, because they look innovative and will definitely be noticed by everyone.

We looking forward to seeing what you choose. (Although I personally hope it won't be the upside-down gardens, which always look like a form of plant torture to me.)
