Not Your Typical Plant Stand

20 Minutes

I am a upcycler and recycler.. to the point that I may be a little bit of a hoarder also. ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ˜ณ

The only good part is.. when I want to create something out of the box I usually have something laying around. This time I wanted to find something that would raise up the new flower arrangements I had purchased for my shop.

That's when I found a couple of chairs I had held onto even though they were broken.

Cutting it down

So my husband AKA "disgruntled employee".. loved doing this part. He was finally able to use his sawzall. It really only took a couple minutes to cut the back off even. I'm guessing if you don't have a sawzall you could use another type of Saw. It just might take a little bit longer.

Painting the easy way

I paint furniture for a living so I can understand why some people cringe when I bring out the spray paint. Trust me this is so much easier and faster plus it does repel water. Being outside I wasn't worried about being fancy. ๐Ÿ˜Š I just painted it until it was covered. Then let dry.

Final look

Didn't that come out pretty? Plus I feel good that I was able to reuse something in a new and useful way.

Close up!

See? Nothing fancy and nothing hard. Perfect quick project.
