I had drug this long pallet home years ago. One of my first repurposed projects was that I stained it and put casters on it and it was my coffee table for many years. But since it was such a perfect pallet I couldn’t get rid of it. So I decided I needed to do something with it to make it useful. I came up with this perfect back door planter for my herbs.

Perfect pallet
Since the pallet was already stained dark I did not have to do that step

Since the pallet was already stained dark I did not have to do that step. But if yours doesn’t have anything on it then of course please stain it to the color that you would like to see. I knew that I was going to lean mine up against the wall and I have the right cute little buckets and some hooks.

Prepped and ready to go

I had gotten these two hooks at a yard sale ME. I figured they’d be perfect to hold some of my buckets. And hang on the pallet.

Buckets prep
Drill drain holes

I had collected these buckets over the years not sure what I was going to do with them they’re perfect for my little herb garden. I drilled holes in the bottom so that they were drain.

Adding buckets to pallet
I propped up the pallet and went to town adding my buckets

I propped up the pallet and went to town adding my buckets. Super easy use the long drill bit to attach the buckets and the ME hooks. I added Gravel to the bottom and then my soil to the top and planted my seedlings. Now I just wait for my herbs to grow. There you have it a half an hours time and I got a unique little planter. I hope you enjoy my repurposing ideas let me know your thoughts.
