I do not think it is advisable chlorine in your garden.
I let mine flow out into the hedgerow. Killed some grass on its way, but never the big hedge plants. If you are not using a 'chlorine' system your water should be clean to use for any purpose.
I agree! Chlorine and any pool chemicals will kill grass and plants.
Chlorine will definitely kill your lawn and poison your garden! Not a good idea.
I have a DE / Chlorinated pool and I've backwashed directly into my lawn for years. No issues. However the grass(St. Augustine) here is a tougher than most.
