Good luck!
make sure to allow room for each plant as if it is fully mature...it might be small now, but it will grow.
Wehn I was living up in New York, I have come across The Michigan Bulb Company. Purchased so many plants from them and without fail they bloomed every year. In fack I have done such a nice job, my plants or front yard had beautiful colors from Spring through fall. It was amazing. Something to check out?
one more thought...what type of tree came down? if its in the pine family the soil in that area may need amended- pines acidify the soil when they drop needles. if it was a shade tree....the roots which still remain, would be aprox. 3 times the size of the canopy of that tree. that might make some planting difficult.
Happy for you, Elise. Wishing you continued success! Happy Holidays!
Is that a sunny, part sun or shade area? If it's a sunny spot, Blanket Flowers. (Gaillardia) continiously bloom well into fall! Blooms last a while so u don't need to dead head to often.
