The best way without damaging the sedum is to pull it by hand. Do it right after it rains so the grass is easier to pull.
The best way without other plant damage is to pull it out. Ann is right, the easiest time is after it rains.
If you choose to spray it with any vinegar solution, it will kill the grass and anything it touches. You can protect larger other plants with a tarp, newspaper, or individually with an empty 1 gallon milk container, cut out the bottom and cover the plant, just leave the cap on. Also you can do the reverse and cover the grass with the milk container and spray through the lid area and kill the specific grass. You would have to give it a good rinse after using it to remove any vinegar residue between spraying vinegar through it.
Hello although tedious I-have been hand pulling grasses and weeds from sedum areas after rains.
If any of these work without damaging your plants, please let us know. I’m rather skidding so I pull weeds.
I really suggest to do it manually, simply by pulling it by hand. That is the best way to avoid any damage.
The best way is to pull it by hand unfortunately. Anything you spray or dump in there, especially if it contains salt, will kill everything around it including the sedum.
