I moved into an apartment recently and the yard is full of holes from previous renters dogs. Also, the fencing is full of holes any my toy poodle and cat get out.

Thank you, Vickie Martin.

That you should go to the management of the building about fixing. It should have been fixed before you moved into the apartment. Let them know that your pets can get out of the holes in the fence and it needs to be remedied ASAP. If you do it yourself, make sure you have their permission to fix it so that you don't get into trouble with the management. See if they have something they can at least cover the holes in the fence with temporarily until it can be repaired right, as well as the holes in the soil.

Fill the holes in the ground with dirt. You can buy it in the bag at Walmart, Lowe’s, etc.

For the fence - get some chicken wire and cut patches to cover the holes. Also - ask your landlord for a better repair from a fence company or handyman. Chicken wire will work for now though.

keep receipts and give them to landlord for any repairs you make;cut chicken wire to cover holes in fences and fill in the holes in ground with dirt compact it really well so your pets do not get out. do not leave your animals unattended in the yard until it is sev cure so you don't loose them. you can also put big rocks in the holes/ground along bottom of fence to hold bottom of chicken wire down then backfill with the dirt.
