I have decorative rocks placed on one side of my deck and grass keeps growing there. Originally I placed a garden weed barrier there, but grass still comes up.

You could spray around and on top of the rocks with weed killer, You don't say what you mean by decorative so my guess is that they are painted? You could also pour table salt around(on the ground) the rocks and into the grass.

I never considers spraying weed killer before playing the weed barrier down. Wish I would have know. That a few days ago, when I laid weed barrier down.

I would avoid using chemical weed killers, that soaks into the ground and eventually ends up in the drinking water. Go the vinegar, salt, dish soap route-it is a safe effective way to kill weeds.
