I used Black Mulch to finish my sides of the driveway and it looks really nice. It will need to be "topped up" off and on throughout the Spring/Summer/Fall though.
how about some nice dusty miller or marigolds.
Buy some bricks and paint them any color you like.
I think you could cover it with some rocks or cinder blocks to spruce up the driveway while also covering the gaps
River rock looks awesome. Pour concrete down that area. Brushed stone.
Pour about an inch of concrete then put pavers on top. You want something stable to walk on.
