    drill out some of the stump and make a pretty planter out of it based on your location and sunlight.

    Drilling holes in it for planting will also help it rot sooner. We once cut a taller stump into a chair but noone wanted to sit there because of the ants. If you don't want to drill, place a big shallow pot with drainage.
