I put up the little metal folding fences back away from the flowers. And my dog is on a leash so I can control how close he gets to the flowers. As for dogs who wander into your yard--good luck with that! It's a tough problem.

A small picket fence might be cute!

This is a problem with people not willing to control their animals, placing the responsibility to the homeowners. You should be able to find a short attractive fence at a DIY store.

We had a similar problem with an inconsiderate neighbor, I put up a sign drawing their attention to the fact they and their dog are on camera, the situation improved slightly.

You can try asking them in a nice way to take their animals elsewhere because it is damaging your plants.
