How large are you wanting to make this lighthouse? Will it be decorative only or offer storage?
I'm wanting this to be an outside decoration with possibly a solar light in top. I'm not able to make one with wood. I wondered if it's something I can make with clay pots of different sizes. No storage. And size, I'm thinking about 3-4 feet high? I'm pretty open to any ideas but really want to have a solar light on top? We live in Michigan and a decoration would have to be something that would be stored for the winter. Especially with my sons lake home on Huron Lake.
I couldn't find a design for a lighthouse but I did find this and its basically the same you'll just have to paint it like a lighthouse instead of a snowman . There are holes in the bottom of most of the pots so it should be easy to use E6000 or an epoxy to glue a solar light on top. Good luck and please post pictures of your finished project !
I'm excited to see how it comes out!
Great idea but not quite what I'm looking for. Thanks for your reply
