    Hi Diane, I saw a lot of these animals when we went to Disney World over 20 years ago. You could actually see eyelashes on the elephant. I have wanted to try my hand at this ever since then. I was told to form chicken wire over a couple of ivy plants (either in the ground or in pots). Bring as much of the ivy up and around the wire as you can. Fill in the gaps with moss. After that you can actually start more ivy plants inside the chicken wire growing from burlap "pockets". This is the sort of project that needs attention every couple days. Start feeding the ivy thru the wire and clipping off the leaves that don't fit. I thought I would start easy and try to make a basket. I hope this helps you. And, Happy Thanksgiving!
