How do I build a natural swimming pool?

I have been doing alot of research on the natural swimming pools, does anyone have one? If so how do you like it compared to the standard chemical pool?
Stepping stones, bricks, cement.
My preference is concrete sidewalk or bluestone. Alternatively I have seen decking options too but I find composite decking extremely hot and uncomfortable with summers heat.
You can frame it with 2 x 4's and then pour concrete.
If you go with stepping stones, bricks, or rocks make sure you don't "fill in" with sand or you will have pool issues. You can use mortar or pea gravel for filling.

Get large 12 by 12 stone blocks from home improvement store make a path dig hole to fit them along path then plant grass between
We built one by clearing out the path of any grass then laying river rocks over the patch and edging it with metal edging.
