Looking for ideas for movable privacy fence/trellis for patio. I have a driveway that comes right up to hour sliding door entrance to the house. It would be great to put up a movable barrier that would dress up the entrance area, provide some privacy, and also a sense of living space between where the cars are parked and the sliding door. The fence/trellis may also provide a place to keep dogs in while we enjoy the space. It would need to be movable to provide options when moving items in and out of the house or opening up the area for activities. We also have a fair amount of wind so it would need to be reasonably solid when in place. Would love to hear some creative thoughts !!

Pinterest is the go-to place for decorating or design ideas.

A lattice type would allow at least some wind to pass through. But anything solid is going to catch the wind.

Good point. We are located in east central Iowa. I am on bare ground. The trees I have planted won't grown straight because of the wind. The lattice would also make it lighter to move. Thank you for your consideration and time on this questions.

I would build a sturdy frame. Add the plastic lattice to it and then install casters on the bottom so that it will roll easy. You will need to be able to fasten the sides to something solid but using an easy to remove fastener.

Had not thought about the casters. From an application standpoint that might work. The location is gravel presently with the thought of adding pavers later. The thought up to now has been to have an anchor in the ground that I could fasten too. The caster would solve the problem of the anchor clip being covered in snow and ice. Good thought Joy. I will consider it. Many thanks.
