Need to figure out a hearty tree for my front yard- ideas?

I'm removing a magnolia tree that is very messy. Drops leaves, flowers and seed pods. Want to replace it with a tree that needs no care and keeps leaves year round. Location Florida.

We have a crepe myrtle. Very little maintenance required. Beautiful in bloom.
