I used a flower pot and it's tray. I turned the flower pot upside down and placed the tray on top of it. Then because the tray is so deep I put a large rock in the center of the tray with some smaller ones around it so the smaller birds could use it too. They loved it and because it was a pot and tray I already had it didn't cost me anything but time.
