    Hostas grow well in shade and there are many varieties.

    I would walk around your neighborhood. Look for a yard with similar conditions. What grows well there is likely to grow well in your space!

    Hi Gihane,

    There are a lot of plants that grow in the shade. Impatiens is one that comes to mind. Also Coral Bells although they can use a little sun. My suggestion if you live in the US would be to call your local county Cooperative Extension. You can find their number in your phone book or search Cooperative Extension ______(your state) then find the place to choose your county. They are the experts at plants that grow well in your area.     Hostas, blue eyed grass, kentucky blue grass, impatients (anuals), mosses and ivy.

    Lamium, bleeding heart, astilbe, brunnera also grow well in shade.
