Rock garden- would like some different ideas to update it

My rock garden is situated on a slope in my yard. Has junipers that are not looking to nice as they have been there a long time. Also has yellow sedum. Not a particular fan of junipers so would like some different ideas to update it

I also have a rock garden in my front yard which is on a steep slope. I have rocks of varying sizes I can sit on!! I am trying hen and chicks, have several kinds of low sedum that are doing good. I want to put some moss rose in this spring. I dug out my creeping juniper which was a real job. Those roots are awful. Good luck with your project. I have changed my slope several times over the years.
