How can I turn metal rings from an antique barrel into yard art?

How about molding it into a light fixture for the yard?

Place them inside of each other so that they form a sphere and just lay them on the ground.

1. Make wind chimes to hang inside them.

2. Use them as frames for macrome plant hangers & attach rope to ring to make it. Could use same principle to make bird feeder or bird bath, just put trays or big bowls in them instead of plants.

Put them inside each other and then turn them out to be a garden globe. Use metal screws to hold them in place. Set them in a bird bath or on a post. Hang them from a tree with lights wrapped around them.

You could use the barrel rings as the frame to make a large tree of life sculptures to hang on a fence wall. This link is example but is small pendant, just make yours a large version.
