What are the best trees or shrubs to plant for year round privacy?

I need recommendations for privacy landscaping around our walkout patio where our Jacuzzi is located. Prefer trees that last all winter and will grow fast in the midwest region (Kansas).

Monkey grass is a great way to build a privacy 'wall' naturally. It is ornamental grass that grows up to 7' tall and yiu can break up the ball if the plant in the Fall or early Spring to move and start a new area or just for addition to your landscaping. It is also makes for a great filtering system to keep the dysr down. Very easy to grow and care for. Good luck!
Evergreens. Go to your local plant nursery and they will tell you what grows best in your area.
I used arborvities to shield 2 sides of my hot tub. Very little maintenance and with small white Xmas lights on them make for a cozy resting zone.
Rose of sharon, bushes, beautiful flowering and grow fast ,wide, high, dropping seeds to spred each year.
