What can I plant in back of petunias (taller) in a long, narrow space?

    I'm thinking sedum autumn joy, catmint walker's low or salvia. But I'm not sure how narrow of a space you have there. These are all taller and will look great behind petunias. You could also try a small shrub - like yew - they don't need too much room and stay green year round.

      Thanks, Karen! I was thinking I wanted something that would look good year round and not completely hide the fence. I’ll try some yew , I think. Thanks!

    What about lavender or snap dragons? Maybe Glads?
