You can use curing cement- have fun!
Dont use cement for laying block. Eithrr have cement patio oor block. Dig about 8-10 inches below ground. Fill with 1/4 lime stone. Pack it down, allow for a good rain or you water it so it hardens. Then a 2in layer of mason sand. Place block according to pattern. Top w mason fine sand and sweep into cracks. Beginning of season you may need to sweep alittle more sand in cracks. I haven't had to in 3years. Good Luck!
Morter min for brick &block
Hello Brindiz, Do you want to create one block done yourself? If so you can pour some quick-crete in a cake pan and decorate with marbles, stones, etc. Be sure to put a plastic bag in the pan first (for easy removal). Put your decorations down and then pour the quick-crete on top. After it dries remove the block and then you can paint it if you want to. This is similar to those "hand print" kits for kids. Hope this helps. Good luck.
