I have had the best luck planting Knockout roses in March. They will bloom this summer, but next year they will be better. Remember, they love full sun and after the blooms die, clip them off four more blooms.

I think a good reminder is plant, prune and maybe feed in months that start with “a”, so that would be April and August.
