Will invisible thread work outside around a pool?

    If you're asking if invisible thread would work as a barrier around a pool, I would say definitely NOT. If a person or animal (pet or wild)got entangled in thread, or even just hooked on it,and then fell into the pool, they would be tied up and possibly drown. Pool barriers while sometimes a bit ugly,are meant to be seen,a visual deterrent as well as a physical block. A barrier should be able to withstand something like a running/playing dog, bouncing basketball or a child pedaling around the patio. Falling into water entangled in anything, rope, netting, even clothing,can be lethal.

    It should be fine depending on how much chlorine gets on the threads over time and how much the sun will degrade it. That's gonna happen no matter what you use.

    None of this makes any sense!! If she is talking about invisible thread, it is just that. THREAD! What is thread going to do?
