Recycle Old Lamps to Make a Beautiful Bird Bath

Easy
I disassembled 2 old lamps (brass one I got for $5 at Goodwill 1 I had in my garage). Reassembled to what I liked, spray painted with rustoleum hammered copper finish glued(E6000) the shallow bowl to the top. I plan to get some river rock to to put in bottom so birds have something to perch on.
You want a bowl not too deep or the birds will not use.
So many possibilities with these! I think I'll make myself one

you can get it just about anywhere (home depot, walmart, target, hobby lobby, michaels etc) http://www.hobbylobby.com/Beads-Jewelry/Tools...> I did have issues with the adhesion so I purchased J-B Weld RTV silicone sealant that seemed to work...J-B Weld 31310 Clear All-Purpose RTV Silicone Sealant and Adhesive - 3 oz.

Yes, I really want to make a couple of these bird baths. What type of E6000 glue did you use? I want to make a bird bath with old lamps as well, but I noticed there are various types of this glue on Amazon. Thanks!
