Recycle Water Fountain Into Solar Night Time Decor For Garden
My fountain was cream colored and worked for many years. Last year, the pump broke down and the basin develop a crack.
And so I painted it blue using Behr outdoor paint from Home Depot, threw a few bags of DollarTree glass stones inside, and placed it in the garden.
Since the basin had a crack, when it rained, the water drained out. Virtually maintainence free and pretty.
This year, 2018, I wanted lights. I thought how would I create this idea-and searched on Amazon. I found magic night solar mini lights, 2pk for $14.99. They are on copper wire and bend easily. I washed out the fountain, wrapped solar lights in the basin and the four tiers, then added the glass stones and a few white crystals.
The cords hang down in the back and the sun heats the solar panel during the day. I used the motion mode to create a look that water is moving, and kept it on still mode inside the basin. Very nice. They run all night long. See my video link. https://youtu.be/5HbR-E8EQaE
Never throw out a broken fountain. Recycle it using solar lights!
Bless!!
