Hi there, Hometalk Friends! If you’re like me and tend to accumulate a lot of paint and craft supplies, check out this simple project. Whether you have an older garden accent that needs refreshing or want to add a golden rooster to your outdoor space for fall, here’s a quick project to use some of the “leftovers.”

This little red rooster was a clearance find and I've had him for ages. His faded red paint had seen better days, so I was ready to refresh him with a fresh coat of paint. Are you looking for a rooster? Click here!

I had some leftover spray paint in this sunny golden shade, but you can use whatever color you prefer. I love using these spray handle gadgets. They are so much easier on your fingers--have you tried them? Do you need a spray handle? Click here!

My little rooster only needed one coat of paint. I used my leftovers and upcycled my garden rooster. Win-win! Maybe you have a different garden accent that needs refreshing with paint that you already have on hand.

This golden yellow color will also work well with fall decor. What color will you paint your rooster or garden upcycle?
