So, I Made This Bird Bath

I now wish I had used a larger bowl on the top. What do you think?
I purchased a 24 inch rebar from The Home Depot. I spray painted it blue.
I picked up the vases, ashtray and bowl at a local garage sale for a song, and glued them together one piece a day.
This allows the glue to cure and alleviates any shifting that could occur if you glued each piece together on the same day.
I had so much fun doing this! I'm keeping this one for myself, but I plan on making more and selling them at my vintage Etsy shop, TheMichiganAttic.

What kind of glue did you use? The birdbath is adorable. Nice job.

Beautiful. Great idea too. If you think you need a bigger bowl or dish on top, you can just add another. Yes? Thanks for sharing!

Gorgeous, but...that bowl is way too deep for a bird bath. It should be shallow @ about 2". The birds can drown in deeper water. Thought you would like to know.
