Follow along to see how I gave a metal flower stake for the yard a unique one of a kind paint job. It is very easy.

I found this cute metal yard stake on sale at Costco. It was ok in the faux rust color but being a painter I found it boring. Luckily I had a can of Krylon spray paint on hand in a favorite color, sea glass.

I assembled it and seeing it was a stake it worked perfect to spray stuck in the ground.

Wanting just the petals painted I taped off the center with painters tape And sprayed away with many coats on all sides and in the nooks and crannies for a nicely covered surface.

Remove the tape and it is complete

This is an easy solution to create a one of a kind piece of art in my yard!

The fun color gives my yard the perfect punch of color. It is an easy way to change virtually anything in your garden that needs color or an update.

And seeing it was such fun I went back and bought a couple more, they will be done in other fun colors, perhaps I will share them here too :)
