Squirrel proof bird feeder? What about those chipmunks?

Use a Frisbee!! To keep chipmunks from climbing up your shepherd's hook to get to the goodies, just drill a hole in the center of a Frisbee (97 cents at Walmart). Wrap some duct tape where you want it to sit so it doesn't slide down to the ground.

This doesn’t look like it will work as they will jump from the frisbee to the feeder

I have seen chipmunks jump 3-4 feet (onto my large plants) quite easily. The only thing that seems to work on squirrels and chipmunks is a racoon baffle. We live in the woods and I suspect we have saved the cost of the baffle in bird seed over the years. I know it's not for everybody but these varmits have all day to figure things out - and they usually win. 🤪
