Upcycled Bird Feeder

I had a small glass lamp that no longer worked, and a domed pan lid I didn't need. So I upcycled them into a lovely covered bird feeder.
Small glass and metal lamp.
I disassembled the lamp, and wire brushed the small metal pieces, which I painted, then coated with clear nail polish.
Removed knob and wire-brushed/sanded rust.
I removed the knob and wire brushed the lid to remove rust.
Painted the lid (this is one coat; I did two.
I painted the lid (both sides) white to match the lamp body. This is after one coat; I did two coats of white, plus some decorative aqua to match the painted metal accents on the lamp.
I then reassembled the lamp, minus the electric socket. I ran a doubled strand of rubberized picture hanging wire up through the metal tube that originally held the electric cord inside the lamp. I tied/twisted it at the bottom, leaving a loop at the top for hanging.
Completed bird feeder.
I added bird seed to the dish base, then I hung it on my clothesline, which I can see from my kitchen window.
