Patio Makeover

Our patio hasn't had any love since we moved in. The pool side of the yard has been where all of our attention has been. So time to give the patio a makeoer
This is the mess and dumping ground the patio had become. Time to clean it all up.
Once it was cleaned off I discarded the rugs and used another one I had in my stash. Then I decided we needed to cover up the end of the patio since we don't have the shed up yet and garden tools aren't too great to look at.
These are outdoor curtains. They will block off the end of the patio but still give us plenty of light. Now to put the furniture back and shop the house for some accessories.
A few pillows and a couple of throws for the settees made them look comfortable and inviting.
I added a wicker chair I had for extra seating and hubby put a few of his plants along the window wall. Now it was starting to look like an inviting space.
I added a couple of candlesticks and a plant to our little coffee table.
The firepit will be perfect this fall when the weather cools down. We will be able to sit out here.
I am really pleased with how it looks now. Much more inviting and this is the view that I have. Love looking at the pool.
Simple makeover with just a few curtain panels, a ton of clean up and shopping the house.

Is the patio covered by a deck above? If so, how do you keep the rain off of the lovely stuff below or do you bring it all in when weather gets bad?
