Repel bugs naturally with this easy to make homemade plant spray. It uses essential oils to keep bugs off of your plants to prevent them from eating the leaves. You can use this on indoor plants or outdoor plants.
If you see little holes on the leaves on your plants, it could be from bugs. Luckily, bugs are fairly easy to repel. I use an essential oil spray that's water based. Oils and water don't mix, but since you are using this on a plant and not on your skin, you don't need an emulsifier. Just shake it before each use.
You will need:
Fill the bottle with water. I recommend using distilled water or filtered water.
Then add lemongrass essential oil. Place the lid on the bottle and shake.
I used lemongrass essential oil, but you can use other oils. I have a list of oils and what they repel in my natural homemade bug repellent spray post, so click the link to go over there to check it out.
To use, spray your plants once a week. Shake well before using. You can use this on indoor plants or outdoor plants.

I was gifted an orchard and I’ve had it about a month and have watered it with 3 ice cubes once a week and have it in a bright place but the leaves are drying and falling off. What do I do to make it come back?
