Neem oil ....

Believe it or not chrysanthemums. They are highly toxic to fleas but not sure about ticks. Best if you can grow them yourself, dry them out, crush the flower petals as finely as you possibly can then simply rub it all over your cats and dogs. You can even scatter it in your house. Fleas need only ingest a very small amount of the powder to kill them. Two weeks later wash rinse repeat.
I make & sell an organic flea fighter serum through my Facebook page. But I don't give out the recipe. I also can't guarantee it's results against ticks. We just don't have that issue in se Texas.
Neem oil is a nice, natural option- good luck!
