Rake up the moss and reseed grass. worked for me

  I bought seed and a ground cover mat from Lowe’s. I watered it daily for a week and there it was. The only alternative is to buy sod.

Moss like shade, compacted soil and damp areas; correct the environment to make it less conducive to moss growth, but if you can't get more sun - at least 6 hours morning sun even for 'shade' tolerant grasses.
