Vinegar soap and water formula that you can find online.
Salt or baking soda
Vinegar, Salt & dish soap works great
If you didn't put down landscape fabric underneath, you will have to continue pulling and/or spraying to kill grass and weeds.
the mixture is white vinegar and water mixed with salt and soap
I use a propane torch on a wheeled cart and burn them. Works great, is immediate and chemical free.
Just don't use salt. It is getting into our waterways and lakes and increasing the salinity. It never goes away and only keeps collecting in the water and getting more and more and soon we will no longer have the flora and water creatures and fish we all like anymore.
Kill existing weeds with hot vinegar and then apply a pre-emergent seed killer such as Dimension. Reapply every 3-4 months, depending on rainfall. Be sure to follow the directions on the package.
I use straight vinegar and apply when needed. Remember it will kill grass so be careful where you spray
Hi Gayle, you can make a diy weed killer
Pour 1 gallon of white vinegar into a bucket. 5-percent household white vinegar is fine.
2. Add 1 cup of table salt.
3. Stir in 1 tablespoon of liquid dishwashing soap.
4. Blend all thoroughly and then funnel the weed killer into a plastic spray bottle.
7. Put in spray bottle to kill weeds, don’t get it on plants you like.
Then sweep some sand into the crack to fill them and help prevent weeds.
