You could build a fence, or you could set up a motion detector water sprinkler aimed at your garden areas.

you can try sprinkling pepper around your plants... Red or black pepper, both will work also chili powder will work... you do need to sprinkle more anytime it rains as it will wash away.
Recommend Cayenne pepper!
