buy yourself a hep a filter they work great, but don't buy a cheap one get one that can be cleaned and the filters are not to expensive. Stop using dryer sheets, use your vent while cooking.

Clean and vacuum your bathroom fan ceiling vents frequently to ensure that they are in optimal working condition.

Change your vacuum cleaner bags before they become over-full to ensure that your vacuum cleaner is also working at optimal capacity.

You can get filters to put on your forced air vents. Change the filter on your HVAC system monthly.

I suffer from COPD so dust and dander used to affect my breathing. I bought an 'Ionic Pro Max' air purifier. It cleans the air of all bad particles in the air. No filters to buy, just wash off the metal blades. It costs around $160.00 but worth every penny. I have one in the living room & 1 in my bedroom. I keep them on around the clock. Very inexpensive to run and also keeps my having to dust less. Virtually no sound.
