I'd try an insect netting over your plants and see if that helps.

Try putting aluminum foil on the ground beneath it.

Sounds like slugs.

Yup, that's what I was thinking, slugs, they come out at night.

I usually spritz my plant leaves with a soapy mixture. Dish detergent works. Good luck!

Make a spray up of qt of water 20 drops of mint oil ,20 drops of lemon oil ,20 drops of Eucalyptus oil .shake well and spray under all leafs re spray after it rains .shake before every sprY
