Moles eat grubs and worms. Do you have leaf piles or decayed mulch build up in your yard? This attracts moles. Use castor oil in the tunnels moles make or Juicy Fruit gum. They hate the smell. There are also the ultra sonic mole chasers, too. Those did not work for me as I was sensitive to their sound. I also planted castor bean plants around the yard, but they are poisonous! I didn't have outdoor pets to consider. I would use several methods. Traps are cruel and messy and if you don't empty them immediately, other scavengers will show up.
The puppy running around will help. I used a windmill. They do not like all the vibration on the "roof" of their house and will move on.
try the vibrating machine.. I have them too and I put insecticide on yard to kill grubs...still have them.
