my favorite way is with a live catch trap. bait with peanut butter. no poisen used that pets, children could get into. no mouse crawling into a wall to die.

get a big cat....I know mice don't like moth balls, place in the corners of closet on floor, also, you could stuff steel wool in the holes. they wont chew through that. goodluck.

First, plug up the chew hole with something ''unchewable". Then go to home improvement store and ask what the have for mice. Depending on your personal feelngs about how to get rid of the mice (trap and release), kill, etc, they should have something to help get rid of the mice.

  • Call an exterminator and get a no kill traps- bait with dollar store peanut butter. And plug up all points of entry! They are cute darling creatures, but do not belong into your house!

I always use mouse traps baited with peanut butter. Put them anywhere that you have seen them. If they are only in the coat closet, which is doubtful, put them in there. You can live trap them, but they will just come back in after you release them. If you have kids or pets, put them behind things to keep them away from the traps. The cat it a good idea if you have a friend that has a good mouser. Where you see one or two mice, most likely there are a lot more. Try to find out how they are getting into your house. It doesn't take but a tiny hole around an outside faucet or anywhere something goes into your house like gas or electric meters..
