apply food grade diatomaceous earth
Hello. You can purchase a product called diatomaceous earth. This is organic made of crushed shells and coral. It cuts any insect with a exo skelton causing them to dehydrate and die. I use it for ants and ticks.
Make your own bait! You will need to soak a cotton ball in the following solution and place beside every ant hill you see.
To keep away from children and pets, you can put the cotton ball in a used plastic container like a margarine tub with 2 or 3 ant sized holes poked around the bottom. I cut a hole in the top and cover with clear packing tape so I can see if ants are inside. Set the container beside the ant hill.
Ant Bait Solution
1 1/2 Cups warm water
1 1/2 TBSP Borax (make sure it's Borax)
mix until dissolved
add
1/2 Cup Sugar
mix until dissolved.
Store in airtight container.
THIS IS TOXIC TO HUMANS AND PETS
:)
Boiling water, rolling in the pot boiling, with repeated applications. What awful buggers they are.
