How can I get rid of Japanese Beetles without using chemicals?

I have tried shaking them off of the plants into a container of soapy water. I have to-do this every day, so it is tedious.

you can try using horticultral oil but it will have to be applied on a frequent basis as well
I copied this from home talk .1teaspoons of dawn .1 cup of veg oil . 1 cup rubbing alcohol .1quart water .Mix well put in spray bottle .spray only in morning .I haven't tried it yet. .forgot to get alcohol. .Good luck .

My grandpa used to put coffee pots with stale beer in it. To be honest they drink, get drunk and drown.
