you can try using horticultral oil but it will have to be applied on a frequent basis as well
I copied this from home talk .1teaspoons of dawn .1 cup of veg oil . 1 cup rubbing alcohol .1quart water .Mix well put in spray bottle .spray only in morning .I haven't tried it yet. .forgot to get alcohol. .Good luck .
