The moles are probably after grubs in your lawn. If you get rid of the grubs, the moles will go too. Another way is to trap and remove them.
Some of these suggestions might help: https://www.hgtv.com/outdoors/gardens/planting-and-maintenance/how-to-get-rid-of-moles

In master gardener classes the expert lecturer commented there are possible four solutions, get a cat, get rid of the grubs, get a mole trap or live with them.
Mole traps, killer gas, drown them

I keep a small box of instant mashed potatoes on hand and sprinkle a few spoonfuls where i think they travel. I do this at night since most are nocturnal. After they eat, the flakes expand in the stomach and well they die.
NOTE: If you have pets keep these flakes out of their reach.
Another idea is to pour Pinesol on the mound – they move right out.
I would hire an exterminator, it is so worth it and they'll get rid of it quickly... and less damage to your yard.
I have a very rocky soil in my yard. No moles.
Eliminating things they like to eat may help. Also a below grade barrier my deter them from entering your yard.

Several years ago our neighbor had moles that destroyed his flower beds. He made small holes on top the mole tunnels, broke up pieces of yeast cake, dropped a few pieces into each hole, covered them with dirt and tamped them down. Within a week, the moles were gone from his flower beds.
