You can try moth balls down their holes.
Mole holes are the perfect place for the little treasures that my dog leaves in the yard!
Moles love beetle grubs so if use diatomaceous earth every year to kill the grubs then your mole population should subside as well. That has been my experience here in the North East.
We use Grub Ex... worked well for us
Milky Spore is a good alternative to Grub Ex. Non-toxic - to everything but the grubs.
Get rid of the grubs and most times they will leave.
I have been blessed with an overabundance of yard rocks that surround areas in my yard. I dig out the holes, stuff rocks down their holes. I pour amonia and any product I can find down the holes. You can also ad dryer sheets. I have done it all. They will re-dig and take the rocks out occasionally, Hard to believe. What worked the best my neighbor gave me a large container of liquid ant killer and I did not want the product, just the container so I poured it down a hole. That kept them gone for about 4 months and I have so many holes since the yard next to me is empty. Good Luck.

They are eating the grubs in your lawn. Treat the lawn for grubs, once they're gone, the moles will go too!
If you remove the bugs they eat they wil leave for greener pastures (your neighbors).
