Sweep in decomposed granite - kind of like sand.

Don't know how to seal a patio, but you can buy Lilly Miller Moss Out granules and sweep it over the patio to kill any, then each fall sprinkle some from the can to preventit growing.
Silica sand works great but must be done every two years.
