Put the strongest rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle and make sure you spray bed, rug, curtains on a regular basis. It breaks down their exoskeleton and will kill the eggs. It is just so hard to kill them because they hide so well and can live without blood for a good long time. Wish you well...

A relative of ours had a bedbug problem in his senior living apartment. One company just sprayed but the bugs came back. What finally cleared his apartment was a professional company that uses heaters - have to remove food and other items that could be damaged. They heat the rooms to over 140 degrees. So far, it has killed the bugs, but they're probably in other wings of his building, so he has to constantly check for bugs.

One of my friends had a real problem with them. She used food grade Diatomaceous Earth for several months and they died off. They had spread from the bedroom to the rest of the house before she noticed them. She didn't want to dispose of all of her furniture, so it took a little longer to get rid of them.

I used windex or any glass cleaner with Amonia. This kills on contact. Must remove all bedding and wash in hot water/dry on highest heat. then spray e3very surface with the glass cleaner- all sides and into folds and seams. wash everything in the room, empty closets, and spray around all walls, floors, ceilings with amonia mix, even inside window casings, as these things get inside everything. Under bed slats, cushions, all cracks and crevices. Then look in every room. They travel and you may have to repeat in other rooms. Do not spray on pets. Sorry you are having this problem. It is the worst nightmare. Good luck

I sprinkled food grade diatomaceous earth and Borax all around the bed and under the mattress. It took a few days but they are gone! D.E. is not expensive and can be used on/in pets, around the house, in the yard and is good for fleas as well as cockroaches! Good for pets and people for internal parasites, just don't let anyone breathe it ;)
