How do I get rid of feral cats for good?
On my street in Michigan, I have about 20 feral cats. I called everyone for help but they will only trap, neuter, and return. (a.k.a. TNR). And they want me to pay for that! HA!!! Not my cats! I just want them gone! I have a dog, and grandkids, I don't want the urine smell, bugs, germs, screaming sounds, etc. that comes with the cats.

You could try to repel them. Scatter fresh grounded orange and lemon peels or spray the area with citrus-scented fragrances. Coffee grounds, pipe tobacco, oil of lavender, lemongrass, citronella, and eucalyptus also deter cats.
Oils like citronella, lavender, peppermint, lemongrass and orange tend to repel cats when they smell them and are nontoxic. To make a homemade solution of these oils, mix one part essential oil with three parts water.
Hi Brenda, my son has the same problem with feral cats in his rather upscale neighborhood. Same "laws" in his city TNR. Too add to the problem some of the neighbors feed the cats which keep them from moving onto some other area. They love a stucco ledge built as part of the house and the urine problem is terrible. Hope you will share what you learn with us.
